The mobile classroom preparation volunteer prepares the mobile classroom for service at the Read and Feed office in Cary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stocks mobile classrooms using a checklist of kitchen and cleaning supplies, take-home books, student incentives and other materials
- Organizes curriculum, books, and other supplies for that evening’s session
- Cleans as needed, including, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming
- Prepares student folders, volunteer name tags, or completes other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Physically able to lift boxes of books or supplies, and board the stairs onto the mobile classrooms
- Adherence to Volunteer Code of Conduct
- Reliable transportation
