As a reading tutor, you will work one on one or in small groups with K-5 students. Our tutors make a BIG difference in the lives of our students. No prior teaching experience is required to be a tutor, only a willingness to give kids an appetite for reading! Tutoring is a 75-90 minute, once a week commitment. We ask that tutors commit to attending at least 80% of our available shifts. To be a reading tutor, you must meet the following qualifications: 1. Attend Tutor Training Respond to Tutor Training under "Opportunities" to be eligible to respond to the shifts below. 2. Complete a Background Check You will receive instructions to complete a background check after Tutor Training.You will receive an email notification once your background check is approved.
